Start with a photo
Nothing leaves this page. The photo, the tile and everything you save stay in this browser on this device.
On a phone this offers the camera.
- Stand square to the room — a doorway is ideal.
- Hold the phone level, not tilted down. Tilting bends straight lines.
- Get all four corners of the floor in the shot if you can.
- Plenty of light. The tile borrows the room's own light and shade.
Mark the floor and walls
Add a surface, then drag its four dots onto the real corners. Type the real measurements so the tile comes out the right size.
Paint over a toilet, a door casing or a vanity so the tile does not run across it.
Pick the tile
Choose a surface on the Surfaces tab first.
Measure one tile, edge to edge.
Turn it down if the room photo is very dark or very blown out.
Save it and take it with you
The file holds the photo and every setting, so you can carry a room from your phone to your computer — or send it to your tile shop.
