Quantum Branches: Realities Unbound
Step through the Hinge into the branching worlds of the many-worlds interpretation, meet the other versions of yourself, and chase the one question the physics says should be impossible: how are you crossing at all?

🌀 A text game you play by talking to Grok. You join a small, invented lab that has built something the physics says cannot exist: a door between the branches of the many-worlds interpretation. The science is real — Everett's 1957 paper, Schrödinger's cat, the double slit, the Bell tests behind the 2022 Nobel Prize. The lab, the door and the other versions of you are fiction. You get a numbered menu every turn, and you can always type something of your own instead.
In the branch next door you took the other job. In one further out, the city you live in was never built. In every branch you have visited so far, somebody has left a folded index card in your handwriting, and you have not written any of them.
Play as a theorist, an experimentalist, a philosopher, a historian of science or a science journalist. Date how long ago a branch split from yours by finding the first thing that differs. Solve puzzles built on real experiments. Decide what you owe a version of yourself whose life went worse than yours.
Type "fact" at any moment and the game breaks character to tell you:
- What the physics actually says
- Where physicists still disagree — and they disagree a great deal
- What was invented for the story
The game never tells you which interpretation of quantum mechanics is right, because nobody knows.
Every scene quietly writes an image, video, audio, music and dialogue prompt you can save to momatio, where playthroughs become AI-generated reenactment films.
