🏠 A household simulation you play by talking to Grok. You hold a family together for a season on a fixed budget of hours and dollars. The family is invented; the grocery floor, the care costs and the real cost of holding it all together are not. You get a numbered menu every turn, and you can always type something of your own instead.

You are the one holding the household together. Two kids, a partner on swing shift, a grandmother who moved into the back bedroom after a fall, a nine-year-old dog, and a Tuesday that will not cooperate.

Every day is a fixed budget of hours and a fixed budget of dollars, and you cannot spend either one twice:

• The tasks are the cheap part — attention is the scarce one
• The grocery bill has a real floor, and it is bigger than people think
• One $400 surprise can reroute a whole month
• Everybody in the house wants a piece of the same evening

Nothing here is invented economics. The rent on your time comes from the American Time Use Survey, the grocery line comes from the USDA's own food plans, and the emergency fund comes from the Federal Reserve's household survey.
