Rocky Mountain bull elk
Built for Dispersed 3D's wildlife; not in the game yet
wildlifev3Pack: Wildlifedispersed3dwildlifeelkbull-elk
The request Row 44 of Dispersed 3D's task list (wildlife): a deer or an elk in the headlights, or at the creek; the mule deer is done, so the elk. A Rocky Mountain bull elk (Cervus canadensis nelsoni) at real proportions (shoulder height about 1.5 m, length about 2.4 m), a fall coat (tan body, dark brown neck and legs, cream rump patch) and a 6x6 antler rack. Low-poly enough for a phone, the same triangle budget and texture sizes as the mule deer, three poses (standing, head up alert, running), meters, origin at the hooves, nose toward -Y.
In the game Dispersed 3D: a bull elk in the headlights or at the creek, for the wildlife row; it stands, lifts its head, then runs (not in the game yet)
Built by a script an AI agent wrote in Blender, and checked against its renders before it went up. You can watch it being made, from a recording.

Version 3 newest
Rocky Mountain bull elk (v3)
What changed from v2, and why: v3: a slightly darker tan coat and a tighter, higher rump patch so the cream reads; fewer sides on the torso (10), ears (4) and tail (4) to land near the deer's triangle count.
Rocky Mountain bull elk v3. Three poses (elk_stand, elk_alert, elk_bound) laid out in a row like the mule deer, nose toward -Y, hooves on z = 0, meters. Withers 1.50 m and about 2.4 m nose to rump, the figures the National Park Service gives for a mature bull in Rocky Mountain National Park (about five feet at the shoulder, about eight feet long), with a six-by-six rack. 992 triangles a pose, 2,976 in the file (the deer: 972 and 2,916). One material, three 1024 x 1024 JPEG textures (fur-detail base color, ORM, tangent normal), all procedural; the COLOR_0 vertex colors carry the markings the game would draw: tan body, dark brown neck, head and legs, cream rump patch, ivory-tan antlers. About 510 KB (the deer: 476 KB). Not in the game yet.
Model: 2976 triangles, 1 material, 510 KB GLB, 1.09 x 3.34 x 10.35 m (width x height x depth).
