Forest Service road-number post
Seen in Dispersed 3D, at the road forks
signsv4Pack: National Forestdispersed3droadsusfssigns
The request A US Forest Service road-number marker as it really stands at forest road junctions: a brown fiberglass (Carsonite-style) flat flexible post about 1.5 m tall above ground and about 9 cm wide, slightly rounded edges, with the road number in white reflective vertical lettering. The number must be an input (default 6212). Readable from 6 m. Low poly (under 1,500 triangles), one or two materials, GLB under 200 KB.

Studio render
Studio render: the same model the game draws, 196 triangles, lit like a product shot in Blender’s Cycles renderer.
Watch it appear in Blender
A short video of the model being drawn in Blender, one part at a time, from one fixed camera so versions line up. It shows the version you picked under “Spin it”. Play the recording below and it follows along.
Version 3
Made by running this version’s own script again in Blender. Parts appear in the order the script made them, one face at a time. The colors come on at the end. Nothing is written on the video.
Watch it being made
A recording of the agent at work: the request, the plan, the script being written, the renders, the review, the fixes and the export. Speed it up or drag the bar to jump around.

Version 4 newest
Forest Service road-number post (v4)
What changed from v3, and why: WIP: bake the post into a light game model (about 200 triangles) with base color, ORM and normal maps at 512 x 1024; fiberglass with sun fade, scuffs, dust, soil at the base; reflective film band and number. Draft script is v4/build_draft_wip.py; not yet built.
v4: the same post (same size, shape, mesh name and number placement as v3) rebuilt as a 196-triangle game model with base color, ORM and normal maps at 512 x 1024 (JPEG, tangents), baked from a 2,124-triangle high-detail source with raised film lettering. 148 KB. ROAD_NUMBER still works (blank gives band only).
Model: 196 triangles, 1 material, 148 KB GLB, 0.09 x 1.50 x 0.01 m (width x height x depth).

Version 3
Forest Service road-number post (v3)
What changed from v2, and why: Drop repeated points inside every stroke (fixes the 3), raise the corner limit so the 1 keeps its flag, and start the 4's diagonal below the stem top so its apex is clean.
Forest Service road-number marker: a 1.50 m x 9 cm brown fiberglass flat post with half-round edges and a chamfered top, a white reflective band, and the road number in 11 cm white vertical lettering on both faces (mirrored on the back so it reads correctly from behind). The number is an input: PARAMS['ROAD_NUMBER'], default 6212, digits plus A E F H I L N T V X Y Z. Three rounds: v1 front only, v2 both faces and smoother curves, v3 glyph fixes found by testing other numbers. 340 triangles, 12 KB GLB, two materials, origin at the base center, front toward -Y (+Z in the GLB).
Model: 340 triangles, 2 materials, 12 KB GLB, 0.09 x 1.50 x 0.01 m (width x height x depth).
