Folding aluminum roll-up camp table

Seen in Dispersed 3D: the folding table behind the truck, at camp, once you start your chores (computers and phones)

campv3Pack: Overland Campdispersed3dcampgeartable

The request A folding aluminum camp table with a roll-up slat top, about 0.9 x 0.6 m and 0.7 m tall. Low poly for a phone browser game, under 1,500 triangles, real proportions in meters, origin at the base center, PBR materials.

In the game Dispersed 3D: the camp kitchen table that appears beside the fire ring once the player sets up camp; the stove, lantern and propane sit on it.

Built by a script an AI agent wrote in Blender, and checked against its renders before it went up. You can watch it being made, from a recording.

Watch it appear in Blender

A short video of the model being drawn in Blender, one part at a time, from one fixed camera so versions line up. It shows the version you picked under “Spin it”. Play the recording below and it follows along.

Version 2

Made by running this version’s own script again in Blender. Parts appear in the order the script made them, one face at a time. The colors come on at the end. Nothing is written on the video.

  1. Version 3 newest

    Oct 12, 2026 · 838 triangles · 1 material

Folding aluminum roll-up camp table (v3)

What changed from v2, and why: Finish the table properly, the same way the jerry can was finished (a clarity test against professional assets): build a high-detail source with beveled edges on every slat, rail, bracket and joint, riveted hinge pins, rubber feet with grip ribs and physically based materials (brushed aluminum slats, gray anodized aluminum frame with edge wear and scratches, black plastic and rubber, a little dust); then make a light game model from the same shapes and BAKE the detail into three 1024 px textures: base color, an occlusion-roughness-metal map (glTF ORM) and a tangent-space normal map. The top keeps v2's exact height and size (0.90 x 0.60 m, 0.70 m up) because a lantern sits on it in the game.

Folding aluminum roll-up camp table, finished: same shapes, colors and proportions as v2 (the top is exactly 0.90 x 0.60 m at 0.70 m), now a 33,892-triangle high-detail source (every slat, rail, bracket and joint beveled, riveted hinge pins, ribbed rubber feet) baked into an 838-triangle game model with three 1024 px maps (base color, occlusion-roughness-metal, normal). Brushed aluminum slats with a tone of their own on each slat and a V groove between them, gray anodized frame with bare aluminum at worn edges, fine scratches and a little dust, black rubber and plastic. 423 KB GLB, one material, one draw call. All textures are procedural, nothing downloaded.

    Model: 838 triangles, 1 material, 423 KB GLB, 0.91 x 0.70 x 0.63 m (width x height x depth).

Folding aluminum roll-up camp table (v2)

What changed from v1, and why: Darken the frame to a gray anodized aluminum so it stands out from the studio, remove the painted dark line at each slat edge (the gap already shows it), and add black plastic end caps on the two long rails.

Folding aluminum roll-up camp table, 0.9 m long x 0.6 m wide x 0.70 m tall: 20 brushed-aluminum slats (picture painted by the script, plus a roughness map so the metal catches light unevenly), a gray anodized frame with side rails and end bars, four leaning round legs with rubber feet, a low bar at each end, and a crossed pair of brace bars with a center bolt on each long side. 924 triangles, 110 KB GLB, three materials. Two rounds: v1 was pale gray on pale gray with a painted edge line fighting the gaps; v2 darkened the frame, dropped the edge line and added black end caps.

    Model: 924 triangles, 3 materials, 110 KB GLB, 0.91 x 0.70 x 0.63 m (width x height x depth).
